This popular, annual tribute to the versatile and remarkably steadfast horse celebrates their many powerful influences on mankind. Fine artists in this exhibition are recognized specifically for their outstanding ability to portray the art of the horse.

Opening Reception & Members Preview will be held on Friday, August 5 at 5:30PM.

Miniature Masterpiece Show & Sale

“The Voyagers”, 8 x 10, oil on board, has a place in the 19th Annual Miniature Masterpiece Art Show & Sale at the Phippen Art Museum in Prescott, AZ. These small-scale works of art will be exhibited at the museum in the Lower-Level Gallery and on the Phippen website beginning May 1, leading up to the Sale-by-Draw on Monday, May 30 at 11:00 am. All Masterpieces will be sold at fixed prices to benefit the museum.

This juried show features paintings and sculptures by members of American Women Artists (AWA) at Customs House Museum & Cultural Center in Clarksville, TN. AWA is an organization that aims to increase the number of professional opportunities for women in the visual fine arts.

Charlie's Miniature Roundup

My painting “The Voyagers II” is shown in a new event – a wall sale of over 60 miniature works from artists invited to participate by the C.M. Russell Museum Board of Directors and the Russell Skull Society of Artists.

I’m pleased to announce that two of my original oil on linen paintings: "The Wind Speaks" (14”h x 26”w) and “Comfort Mood” (16”h x 26”w) have been juried into the American Plains Artists Signature Show that will be held at the Petrified Wood Art Gallery, Ogallala, Nebraska. 

The Gallery is open Monday through Saturday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Closed on Sunday.

In conjunction with the Mayo Clinic ‘Center for Humanities in Medicine’, I am pleased to have been selected to showcase my paintings of the American West in a three-month long solo exhibition at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. “Downhill Run” (above) will be just one of the works that will be on view in Building 3 – Second Floor between December 17, 2020 and March 18, 2021.

At Mayo Clinic the needs of the patient come first and a priority is to integrate the arts and other expressions of human culture into the healing environment. ‘The Center for Humanities in Medicine’ sponsors both visual arts and musical art programs to promote the artful and compassionate delivery of healthcare.

Currently, due to pandemic safety measures, only patients and guests are allowed admittance to Mayo Hospital – please call 480-342-2000 for updates.
